Ed’s involvement in Celtic music connects with his interest in other traditional styles that feature stringed instruments. He was most active as a performer and recording artist during the 1970s and early 1980s. A tune he wrote, “More Dazzling than Diamonds”, and recorded with the band “Hot Off the Press”, was played on radio stations in the USA, Europe, and across Canada (especially on the East Coast). For nearly two decades he has attended local Celtic sessions. He plays regularly with the Waterloo-Kitchener based Grand River Ceili Band.
