Les has been playing the bodhran for over 15 years, and teaching privately and at workshops for ten years. He has attended Master classes in Ireland, playing with well-known players like Mel Mercier and Johnny “Ringo” McDonagh. On St. Patrick’s Day 2005 and again in October 2007, Les had the opportunity of playing with the Chieftans who were in concert for both engagements at Massey Hall in Toronto. Currently he plays and records with the Grand River Ceili Band, Floating Widget and others.
