Passionate about traditional music, WhirlyGig is a dance band from the Guelph/Kitchener area that plays music for ceilis, weddings and folk festivals. With Robin Aggus (borderpipes; Scottish smallpipes; highland pipes; whistle), Eva McCauley (fiddle; mandolin; concertina), Irene Shelton (keyboard), Les Starkey (bodhran), Jakob McCauley (bodhran), Bob MacLean (guitar; vocals) and Siobhan Harrop (caller), WhirlyGig will entertain you with blasts of jigs, reels and hornpipes from Ireland, Scotland, Brittany and Galicia, as well as haunting airs and songs.
