All traditional instruments are welcome! This is an opportunity to work on repertoire for those who have a basic understanding of how to play their instrument. Not only will tunes will be taught, but we’ll also look at how to put tunes together in sets, session etiquette, how session musicians communicate with each other (non-verbally) and all of those mysterious elements that make a traditional Irish/Scottish session a great experience. Tunes will be played at a slow enough tempo so that everyone is easily able to participate and gain experience playing in a session-like environment. Tunes will be taught by ear and a learning CD provided with tunes that are taught in class.
