In this class we will work on about 10 tunes, focusing on melody picking as well as chording possibilities. We will be learning tunes mainly aurally (a course CD will be used), but notation and chord charts may be provided. A range of ability levels will be accommodated, but students should have some familiarity with their instrument.

- Scottish Bagpipes – smallpipes and borderpipes (some experience necessary)
- Irish Fiddle Techniques & Tunes (some experience necessary)
- Intermediate Irish Fiddle (intermediate – some experience necessary)
- Tune-learning / Ensemble Playing (some experience necessary)
- Intermediate/Advanced Irish Flute and Tin Whistle (Minimum prerequisite: Tin Whistle I or equivalent experience on whistle or flute)
- Irish Tinwhistle I (no experience necessary)
- Irish Bodhran 1 (no experience necessary)
- Irish Bodhran 2 (intermediate -some experience necessary)
- Advanced Bodhran (some experience necessary)
